If you read my posts you have noticed I try to find interesting topics with links you can follow up with on the net. I recently read this article about healing your body by talking to the ailing body part. Now that is a novel idea I had never considered. But it makes perfect sense. The autonomic nervous system is governed by the subconscious mind. This is why we take hold of the breath in meditation, to get the attention of the subconscious mind and the soul. The Soul has charge of the breath, so when you take charge of the breath the soul becomes alert and pays attention. The Soul also has charge of the functions of the body parts. In reality when you commune with your own Soul and get it's attention you are talking to the deepest essential part of your being. It would make perfect sense that you could heal your liver, leg, bones, or whatever just by talking to it!
Here is a qoute from an article you can read at the link at the end of this post.
We started our feedback training with digital readouts as small as a hundredth of a degree Fahrenheit, and when the patient visualized holding a warm hard-boiled egg in their hand, they’d see maybe a few hundredths of a degree change in the temperature in that hand. And we’d begin talking about the fact that the involuntary nervous system isn’t totally involuntary. It’s only nominally involuntary. And, if you know how to visualize what you want the body to do, it will begin to do it. We found we could train people to cool one hand and warm the other. And then switch it. We even could train people to make one ear warm. In other words, we were really training patients to “talk to the body.” It is all done through visualization. If people had kidney problems, even though we didn’t have a feedback device, they could visualize what they wanted their kidneys to do and the kidneys would begin to change function. So, over a period of 30 years, we've been training people to talk to the organs of their body through visualization.
