I have found some awesome FREE audio recording & editing software! It is similar to Sonar's Cakewalk and GarageBand. It's called Audacity. If you're looking for a way to record, mix, and edit your music, this is a great utility! They offer a whole slew of free effects plug-ins for Audacity. My favorite thing to use Audacity for is to slow down mp3 music files without changing the pitch, so I can learn the guitar solos in the songs! Check it out! It's great, and it's FREE!
