(09:12:26) (host-merri) WIS are you familiar with Robert Moss?
(09:14:00) (WalksInSpirit) Naw, Merri. Don't think so.
(09:14:23) (patricia) who is Robert Moss, merri?
(09:15:46) (Bill) This robert Merri?
(09:15:48) (Bill) In The Dreamer’s Book of the Dead, Robert Moss explains that we have entirely natural contact with the departed in our dreams, when they come visiting and we may travel into their realms.
(09:16:04) (host-merri) yes Bill
(09:16:27) (lilith) Exakl, Bill
(09:16:35) (patricia) WOW, how cool
(09:16:46) (Bill) As we become active dreamers, we can heal our relationship with the departed and move beyond the fear of death. We also can develop the skills to function as soul guides for others, helping the dying to approach the last stage of life with courage and grace, opening gates for their journeys beyond death, and even escorting them to the Other Side.
(09:16:49) (host-merri) have an article of his to post for you tonight
(09:17:40) (Bill) kind of far fetched isn't it?
(09:18:12) (host-merri) no more so then anything Cayce has told us
(09:18:28) (Bill) :o0
(09:18:55) (lilith) dont' know about the escorting, Bill - other parts possible/probable
(09:19:17) (WalksInSpirit) I went to where my Dad is once, so I know that is true.
(09:20:51) (Bill) is your posts going to be on lightening dreaming Merri?
(09:21:39) (host-merri) no Bill Act on your Dreams and Dream Reentry
(09:21:42) (Bill) Lil i'm sure a lot of things are possible
(09:21:51) (Bill) ty Merri
(09:22:27) (host-merri) what is lightening dreaming? Haven't heard of that one
(09:24:59) (Bill) i'll give you some info on it in a sec. Merri its one of Moss's teachings
(09:25:06) (Bill) Recognizing synchronicity in our lives can help us to follow our deepest intuitions, even when they run counter to conventional assumptions. When you start paying attention to coincidence, chance encounters, and the play of symbols in everyday life, you are entering the weave of magic.
(09:25:28) (Bill) The stream of coincidence alerts us to the fact that we are not alone, that we have invisible sources of support, and that we may be on the right course even when the whole world seems to be going the other way – or alternatively, that we may need to adjust our goals and behaviors to a deeper agenda.
(09:28:02) (Bill) okay some info on Moss's lightening dreaming. the last posts were some of Moss's stuff
(09:28:06) (Bill) Through my many years of teaching and practice, I have evolved a simple and powerful method for everyday dream sharing that I call Lightning Dreamwork. Like lightning, it is very fast and it focuses extraordinary energy.
(09:28:11) (host-merri) Rosie and janie should be here for that one!
(09:28:30) (Bill) In the workshops, we allow just 8 minutes for the whole process to be applied to a single dream. With a little practice, you may find it possible to complete the process with a partner in only 5 minutes. This means that, however busy our lives may be, we always have time to share our dreams.
(09:28:32) (patricia) lol, right merri
(09:28:45) (Bill) ya Janie's realy into syncronisity :o)
(09:28:57) (Bill) Rosie's lost it :o)
(09:30:47) (Bill) have lent all my dream books out Merri and only maybe have 1 left makes it harder for me to keep up in your dream chat
(09:31:29) (host-merri) thanks for the info Bill
(09:32:08) (Bill) YW wish i studied more so i could comment with some degree of compidence
(09:32:15) (host-merri) Act On Your Dreams
(09:32:26) (host-merri) By Robert Moss
(09:32:54) (host-merri) Dreams require action! If you do not do something with your dreams in waking life, you miss out on the magic. Real magic consists of bringing something through from a deeper reality into your physical life, which is why active dreaming is a way of natural magic — but only if you take the necessary action to bring the magic through. Keeping a dream journal and sharing dreams on a regular basis are important ways of honoring dreams and the powers that
(09:33:47) (host-merri) • Create from a dream. Turn the dream into a story or poem. Draw from it, paint from it, or turn it into a comic strip.
(09:34:16) (host-merri) • Take a physical action. Celebrate an element in the dream, such as wearing a color that was featured in the dream, traveling to a place from the dream, making a phone call to an old friend who showed up in the dream
(09:34:18) (ernie) cool
(09:35:01) (host-merri) • Use an object or create a dream talisman to hold the energy of the dream. A stone or crystal may be a good place to hold the energy of a dream so you can return to it.
(09:35:13) (ernie) if you dreamedit your tring to tellyourself somthing good
(09:35:22) (ernie) or a warning forsight
(09:35:33) (host-merri) • Use the dream as a travel advisory. If the dream appears to contain guidance on a future situation, carry it with you as a personal travel advisory. Summarize the dream information on a cue card or hold it in an image you can physically carry.
(09:36:19) (host-merri) • Go back into the dream. Clarify details, dialogue with a dream character, explore the larger reality, and have marvelous fun!
(09:37:02) (host-merri) good points to help you work with your dreams
(09:37:18) (Leon) yes
(09:37:18) (Bill) ty
(09:37:22) (ernie) i like a dream
(09:37:33) (host-merri) now he also talks about dream reentry
(09:37:58) (host-merri) If we tap into our dreams, we find ways to bring their guidance and magic into the waking world. The best way to harvest the insight and energy of a dream that you find yourself wanting more information about, is to go back inside the dream through the technique of Dream Reentry. Going back into a dream is like going back to a place you have visited.
(09:38:44) (host-merri) You may want to get back inside a dream for any or all of the following reasons:
(09:39:02) (ernie) i wanna have dreams
(09:39:06) (host-merri) * to explore the dreamscape and gather helpful information
(09:39:10) (ernie) the good kind
(09:39:43) (host-merri) to talk to dream characters, who may also be spiritual guides or visitors
(09:39:43) (ernie) i know their all good
(09:39:53) (ernie) i want special intrest ones
(09:40:17) (host-merri) write down before going to sleep ernie
(09:40:44) (host-merri) to go beyond nightmare terrors to healing and resolution
(09:41:06) (host-merri) * to travel through personal doorways to other worlds
(09:41:07) (lilith) merri - my dreams don't last that long - my people don't say anything - probably the age
(09:41:25) (host-merri) to have fun and adventure in a deeper reality.
(09:41:37) (ernie) when ever i have nights like that a simple prayer alwise works and i go to sleep 100%
(09:42:07) (host-merri) that's not unusual lilith
(09:42:09) (ernie) its funny if im to lazy to get up and say a prayer i keep having the dream till i do
(09:42:39) (host-merri) subconscious talking to you ernie
(09:42:41) (Anonymous) why do you have to get up to pray, ernie
(09:42:42) (karen) i used to have nightmares, they would wake me up / at that point i would surround myself with white light.
(09:42:59) (ernie) to go to sleeep
(09:43:09) (Andrew) a nightmare is also a dream....
(09:43:13) (ernie) when im having keep me up type dreams
(09:43:16) (host-merri) Here is a six-step technique to help you to re-enter a dream:
(09:43:26) (ernie) i also have good dreams too
(09:43:40) (host-merri) glad to hear that ernie
(09:43:44) (ernie) when im closer to god or more spiritual i dream more
(09:44:14) (host-merri) nightmares are usually something we are not dealing with in the present or something you ate!
(09:44:48) (host-merri) . Pick a dream that has some real energy for you. As long as it has juice, it doesn’t matter whether it is a dream from last night or from twenty years ago. It can be a tiny fragment or a complex narrative. You can choose to work with a night dream, a vision, or
(09:44:56) (ernie) or any type of
(09:45:05) (ernie) DTs
(09:45:24) (host-merri) a waking image. What’s important is that the dream you choose to revisit has some charge-whether it is exciting, seductive, or challenging.
(09:45:28) (ernie) from alcohol drugs sigs or even cafine
(09:45:54) (ernie) good
(09:45:57) (ernie) i like that
(09:46:08) (host-merri) 2. Begin to relax. Follow the flow of your breathing. If you are holding tension in any part of your body, tense and relax those muscle groups until you feel yourself becoming loose and comfy.
(09:46:41) (host-merri) 3. Focus on a specific scene from your dream. Let it become vivid on your mental screen. See if you can let all your senses become engaged, so you can touch it, smell it, hear it, taste it.
(09:47:03) (host-merri) 4. Clarify your intention. Come up with clear and simple answers to these two questions: (a) What do you want to know? (b) What do you intend do do, once you are back inside the dream?
(09:47:07) (ernie) hey take it easy im getting exited
(09:47:15) (host-merri) lol
(09:47:22) (ernie) i feel you tho
(09:47:35) (host-merri) 5. Call in guidance and protection. If you have a connection with the animal spirits, you may wish to call for the help of your power animals. You may choose to invoke a sacred guardian by a familiar name, or you can simply ask for help in the name of Love and Light.
(09:48:12) (host-merri) 6. Give yourself fuel for the journey. If you are doing dream reentry at home, you may wish to experiment with a drumming tape or soft music.
(09:48:57) (ernie) i got some berry white going on
(09:48:59) (ernie) !
(09:49:09) (host-merri) these suggestions can be very helpful when trying to find the meaning of a particular dream
(09:49:15) (Qrious) i suggest steve millers.. time keeps on slipping.. lol
(09:49:33) (lilith) perhaps the Indian flutes will help
(09:49:35) (ernie) they have a double meaning to m e
(09:49:42) (ernie) im a dog
(09:49:45) (ernie) sorry
(09:49:50) (ernie) lol
(09:49:54) (Anonymous) ty merri, nite all
(09:50:07) (Qrious) ground control to major tom.. then?
(09:50:15) (Andrew) pale blue eyes
(09:50:24) (ernie) sorry merri continue please
(09:50:56) (host-merri) dream reentry is something we haven't discussed too much has anyone had any experience with this
(09:51:10) (ernie) si
(09:51:20) (lilith) havenot tried this, merri but have had the same dreams over & over, but not for awhile
(09:51:27) (ephemera) Nope. Been in the borderlands, but not re-entry.
(09:51:34) (ephemera) I will try it.
(09:51:57) (host-merri) tell us about it ernie
(09:52:01) (Bill) as a young teen i often had serial dreams that would last a few nights to maybe a wk. i'd just continue them when i went to bed each night ,, does this count?
(09:52:05) (diane) i think, many moons ago, i did re-enter dreams
(09:52:08) (ernie) gets a little crazy
(09:52:22) (ernie) never never
(09:52:25) (ernie) kidding
(09:52:31) (ernie) to long story
(09:52:32) (host-merri) yes Bill that would be a type of reentry dream
(09:52:34) (ernie) s
(09:52:42) (Qrious) serial dreams eh Bill.. like snap cracke and pop stealing luckycharms.. lol
(09:52:45) (ephemera) Then I've had them too.
(09:53:06) (ernie) but the ones i really want to go back to somtimes dont return
(09:53:37) (host-merri) then try some of these steps ernie(09:53:56) (ernie) ok i will
(09:54:01) (Qrious) I argree with ernie.. its hard to get back the same dream.
(09:54:21) (Bill) you have to learn to focus
(09:54:28) (host-merri) have you tried any of the steps suggested Q
(09:54:48) (Qrious) not the music part.. . that seems a bit much.
(09:55:13) (Qrious) especially with a significant other that can't stand soothing music.
(09:55:20) (Leon) You could sing the songQ
(09:55:29) (ephemera) So, the re-entry has to do with returning to the dream lucidly?
(09:55:54) (Bill) no point in activating the neighbourhood cyotes Leon
(09:56:01) (host-merri) it can be lucid dreaming or just regular dreaming
(09:56:02) (Qrious) I sound like that guy hawaiianising'' somewhere over the rainbow.. lol
(09:56:31) (Leon) ic
(09:57:19) (host-merri) ok now does anyone have a dream to share
(09:58:01) (Leon) Singing something is good for toning to open to spirit
(09:58:36) (Andrew) but you know I know when it's a dream. it's getting hard to be someone but it all works out. that is. i think it's not too bad....
(09:58:54) (Andrew) Let me take you down to
(09:59:26) (Andrew) strawberry fields, nothing is real. and nothing to get hung about. strawberry fields forever....
(10:00:07) (host-merri) is that from a song Andrew
(10:00:24) (Qrious) get back, get back to where you once belong.. that would be a nightmare song huh Andrew.
(10:00:48) (karen) beatles i think
(10:00:53) (diane) yep
(10:00:55) (Andrew) they say i got it coming but i get it while i can grinning
(10:01:08) (Leon) I like to carry on a conversation while dreaming and than carry into wakefulness what has been said.Been told thing I knew I didn't know in my conscious state
(10:01:18) (Indigo) three blind mice...see how they run...
(10:01:24) (lilith) hey - merri - presson - let's these dear people just do their own thing!!! smilin
(10:01:46) (diane) interesting leon

(10:02:35) (lilith) woops!
(10:02:51) (Bill) for sure Merri must let all tune into spirit :o)
(10:02:54) (lilith) thought that was grandmotherly touch - probably wasn't
(10:03:04) (host-merri) this is information and suggestions
(10:03:15) (host-merri) one can accept or reject
(10:03:21) (iamnada) i am a bit lost
(10:03:41) (Bill) in syber space?
(10:03:51) (iamnada) i hate it here
(10:04:08) (host-merri) concerning what iamnada
(10:04:26) (iamnada) not being able to see and touch people(10:04:48) (host-merri) do you mean you hate the chatroom?
(10:05:11) (iamnada) first time here i am not used to chat rooms
(10:05:11) (iamnada) first time here i am not used to chat rooms
(10:05:45) (Leon) I went into a dream with my x-wife and asked her why we got divorced and got the answer. I actuall was reminded why and it wasn't because someone did something wrong. It came about because of the opportunities that were to show upin the near future.
(10:05:50) (alo) practice makes almost perfect iamada )
(10:05:51) (host-merri) they can be quite interesting and enlightening amnada
(10:06:17) (Qrious) so.. your not meant to be Leon?
(10:06:23) (iamnada) leon, who initiated the dream
(10:06:36) (Leon) myself
(10:07:03) (iamnada) how
(10:07:43) (host-merri) are you satisfied with that answer Leon?
(10:08:20) (Leon) I can revisit people from my past at will and carry on a conversation. They do look as they did when I last saw them. Sometimes they have on cloths I don't recogize.
(10:08:59) (iamnada) i see people i do not recognize in place i am not familiar with
(10:08:59) (host-merri) kooool Leon that is what we were talking about earlier
(10:09:00) (Bill) a change in medication may help Leon
(10:09:13) (Leon) Yes merri- to learn there is no blame,,, yes
(10:09:37) (Qrious) well iamnada.. if you seek friends.. just be friendly.. simple rule of thumb.
(10:10:05) (iamnada) i meant in dreams
(10:10:23) (host-merri) people you don't recognize in your dreams are usually aspects of yourself you are not facing
(10:10:26) (Bill) iamnada they are generally aspects of yourself you do not recognize
(10:10:36) (Leon) When someone thinks of me I can pick up their of me in the waking state
(10:10:38) (diane) echo
(10:10:47) (host-merri) lol
(10:10:55) (Qrious) then try introducing yourself to them and ask directions iamnada.. you might get answers.

(10:05:11) (iamnada) first time here i am not used to chat rooms
(10:05:45) (Leon) I went into a dream with my x-wife and asked her why we got divorced and got the answer. I actuall was reminded why and it wasn't because someone did something wrong. It came about because of the opportunities that were to show upin the near future.
(10:05:50) (alo) practice makes almost perfect iamada )
(10:05:51) (host-merri) they can be quite interesting and enlightening amnada
