OK, NOW I AM SEVERLY TICKED OFF! The Bush administration is even more vile than I thought. Getting this bill passed behind our backs and doing this crap for his buddies. This is low, this is so low. God only knows what he will do next. Sell children to the black market? Nasty! Nasty! Nasty!
I am going to have to do some searching to find a way to help the wild horses and I will post it here. I hope you will help me and post it here for others. There has to be a way to stop this crap. I have not become a vegetarian before for various reasons but By Cracky I have eaten the last piece of beef I will ever eat!
"In a move that has appalled horse advocates and elated cattlemen, a Western senator quietly slipped into a 3,000-page spending bill a measure that could allow many wild horses to be sent to slaughter.
Sen. Conrad Burns (R., Mont.) introduced the provision on the weekend before Thanksgiving, without public hearings or debate. President Bush is expected to sign the bill into law this week.
"I'm just disgusted," said Kelly Young, director of Lost & Found Horse Rescue Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization based outside York, Pa. "We had no clue this was happening.""
