Journey Of A Soul Chat: 08-30-05
(01:40:56) (merri) To look at the copper skinned descendants of the Incas today in the high Andes, or the typical Maya still living in Yucatan, along with those startling Aztec-type faces occasionally spotted in the streets of Mexico City, is as physically close as one will ever get to meeting an Atlantean.
(01:41:45) (diane) The Andes....that's where that TV program speculated atlantis was
(01:41:58) (merri) The cheekbones are high, the noses long and aquiline, eyes dark and almond-shaped, hair glossy black, the bearing innately proud and dignified.
(01:42:29) (merri) Peru is the site of two of the world’s most ancient marvels and mysteries. One is located high in the Andes near Cuzco, the other close to the coast near Nasca, on a flat and grassless mesa that is one of the driest desert landscapes on the whole earth. What has preserved the first site from destruction has been its extreme remoteness and inaccessibility, while the latter avoids the erosion of time by a relative absence of rainfall.
(01:43:18) (merri) The fabulous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, lost to the world until it was rediscovered in 1911, is a walled city of white granite buildings and temples precariously perched on a 7,000 foot high mountain shoulder in the picturesque Andes, reached by steep stairways among the towering rocks.
(01:43:59) (merri) When it was built, or why it was abandoned, remain unanswered questions to this day. Particularly puzzling to scholarsand scientists alike is how the Incas presumed to have been so technologically backward that they had neither wheel nor beast to aid them, somehow managed to construct these magnificent walls and edifices.
(01:44:36) (diane) Cause the Atlanteans were there
(01:44:42) (merri) They are fitted together with large blocks of granite so cleverly hewn and adroitly joined with interlocking angles that not even a penknife can be wedged between their mortarless seams. The explanation is that it had to have been a highly sophisticated technology at work in the construction of Machu Picchu, namely the Atlantean. No other civilization in that era, or even in ours, could have done it.
(01:45:03) (Blu) amazing
(01:45:13) (Roz) and could have only been designed from the air
(01:45:21) (Blu) we think we are so advanced
(01:45:30) (whiteraven) it sounds awesome I have friends going there from NZ with a woman called Aluna Joy
(01:45:32) (merri) It took technology that was not only well acquainted with laser-beam principles for cutting through the hardest stone like so much butter, but that was also capable of lifting and transporting vast weights through the use of anti-gravity methods still unknown to us, but then as common to the Atlanteans as the Sun riding effortlessly over their heads.
(01:45:48) (Blu) WOW White Raven!
(01:46:42) (merri) I've seen a short doc on this area and it is truly amazing
(01:46:49) (diane) I found it interesting to learn that the ancient Egyptians practiced dentistry in a manner we do today
(01:47:03) (diane) and then dentistry got lost for ages
(01:47:23) (whiteraven) I d love to walk all these lands
(01:47:33) (merri) interesting diane
(01:47:47) (Blu) Me to White Raven!
(01:47:53) (merri) Ah yes, the Sun! An object of perpetual worship. Here in Og, as formerly in Atlantis, it was the keystone of their life and religion. And so, at Machu Picchu, there was not only the familiar Tower of the Sun, but the unique and exquisitely sculpted Intihuatana, as well. A sacred stone observatory cut from a single outcropping of roack, it was used by the Incas for marking the solstices, equinoxes, and lunar movements.
(01:49:04) (merri) But its vertical marker doubled as a “hitching-post” to tether the wandering Sun and ensure its return. Among the native peoples, the Sun was know as “Inti,” rather than “Incal,” its superimposed Atlantean name. Thus, the Intihuatana, or Sun-tether.
(01:49:51) (merri) As for that ancient marvel on the desert plateau near Nasca, it was of a quite different sort, yet equally impressive.
(01:50:19) (merri) To the airborne viewer looking down upon the perfectly straight lines and giant art-forms drawn from the world of nature, made by removing literally tons of dark surface shale to expose the light-colored earth of the mesa in the desired patterns, it might at first appear to be an ancient “astronomy book” of some sort.
(01:50:41) (Blu) wow
(01:50:52) (Blu) I had no idea
(01:51:25) (merri) there are several theories about what these lines and symbols indicate
(01:51:42) (merlin) intihuatana............could the ankh have served in the same manner?
(01:51:44) (merri) have any of you heard of the different theories
(01:51:55) (Blu) no
(01:52:23) (WalksInSpirit) I haven't either, Merri.
(01:52:26) (ron) landing place for flying ships...or even aliens
(01:52:37) (merri) yes ron, that is one
(01:52:46) (ron) religious
(01:52:56) (Blu) I know the Atalnteans had space flight
(01:53:00) (ron) leading to spiritual mountains
(01:53:04) (whiteraven) yes\
(01:53:05) (merri) also floating balloons, lol
(01:53:19) (Roz) ankh also an egytptian symbol
(01:54:02) (merri) yes Roz, that is what I was thinking
(01:54:16) (merri) How would that tie in, merlin?
(01:55:16) (merlin) as a tether linking body to the sun
(01:56:05) (merri) sorry that is all I have for this week but next week we will start "From Abraham to the Christ"
(01:56:20) (Roz) sounds great Merri
(01:56:24) (merlin) nk combinations means a linking back / any word with this combo would mean a linking back......
