THE GREAT AGE OF AQUARIUS
ron says: Jesus the Christ is reported to have been born sometime between c 29 BC-4 BC. This of course is right on target for an Avatar to help begin a new age. This age known to many as the Age of Pisces or the Water Age, c132 BC- 2024 AD, is symbolized by the fish. It is an age that has facilitated intuition and creativity.
ron says: This age was to begin the next step in the evolution of consciousness rising up to become One with God the Father/Mother within. Jesus confirmed the Age by accepting His Baptism, and proclaimed unless we be born again in Water and Spirit we would find the Kingdom of God. Perhaps he was referring to the last two ages of Pisces and Aquarius before an world wide awakening would occur.
Roz says: and we become one with Mother Earth
ron says: One of the fastest spreading religions during this age, Christianity used as its principle initiation ritual, Baptism. The water in Baptism is symbolic of the Life and Purity of the Soul. This ritual of Baptism, the cleansing or renewal of the mind was brought to light by John the Baptist through Jesus Christ.
true_eagle says: an i beleve.. we r in that time... as minny bible scolars do
ron says: It was to be the preparation period before the great age that was still to come, when the Holy Ghost would descend from heaven or more clearly, be brought forth from the super conscious by those ready to make a conscious change in perceptions and self expression.
ron says: John the Baptist said, "I indeed baptize you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost." Mark 1:8. The Holy Ghost was an abstract thought to people of that Age. But again a symbol of the coming age when man would again initiate the shedding of illusions and take on a new form, a form filled with the Holy Ghost or more completely, Awareness of the Higher-Self.
Blu says: So the Holy ghost is equal to awareness of the Higher self?
diane says: sounds like it Blu
Blu says: That is different, that makes sense
diane says: Much much higher self. LOL
ron says: the Holy Spirit, i see it as a thread joining heaven and earth...found in body symbolism, situated between the head and the body, found in the throat, or thyroid chakra/seat of the will...another words, all having to do with choice and preparation, or those who have earned the right to experience
Blu says: LOL, yeah
diane says: that's kind of a neat thought, ron
ron says: When John the Baptist was to baptize Jesus it was written: " Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John to be Baptized. But John forbade him, saying, I have need to be baptized by thee and thou comest to me? And Jesus answering, said unto him, suffer it be so now, for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness."
diane says: we're taught in Catholicism, HS is a person
true_eagle says: i wonder if cayce had anything on the rapture
ron says: yes diane
ron says: but,....i'm in hesitation there, perhaps slightly
diane says: i know. now ya got me wondering too
Blu says: I think it still is Diane, because when I am aware of or in the Higher self I feel as If I am One person ...One
ron says: The Righteousness that was/is fulfilled in this symbolic act, is the renewal of the Mind in the Purity of Truth. It is the act of giving up the old worldly ways and becoming attuned to the awakening of the Spirit. In Jesus' case the actual moment of awakening could have been revealed then and there but it was not the time. First he was to suffer by the hands (ways) of man - as each person chooses in any incarnation.
diane says: Hmmm. I see what you mean, Blu
ron says: His final triumph or demonstration of the power of Spirit was to be at the death of His third dimensional finite body, which provided a means to verify the process of the Resurrection - or the Transformation into His eternal Light Body. Put in clearer, terms, to prove there was no death, only change and return to our natural state of being.
diane says: you feel you are One with the Spirit
ron says: 600 years after the death and Resurrection of Jesus the Christ, a new prophet arose out of the desert of Arabia. His name was Mohammed and he called himself the prophet of God. As with all prophets, Mohammed came to reunite his people by leading them out of their unholy ways.
Blu says: If you will remeber in my dream title "Wait for it" I was waiting with three people and we all rose together into the light..we were One
diane says: Awesome
ron says: For many hundreds of years the Arabic tribes worshiped in much the same manner as the Hebrews, Judeo-Christians and Hindus. Their Holy city was Mecca, a city built centuries earlier by Abram - for his first son Ishmael, born of his wife's maid, Ha'-gar. As the story goes, after the birth of Abram's second son Isaac.
ron says: Abram's wife asked him to send his beloved - first son Ishmael and Ha'-gar the maid that bore him away into another land. With much reluctance, for Abram so loved his first born, Abram did so, with Gods reassurance that it was the right thing to do. From that day forth, Abram was known as Abraham.
ron says: after he sent Ishmael into the desert, his name was changed to Abraham...hmmmm
ron says: Soon after a band of soldiers took Ishmael and his mother, Ha'-gar deep into the desert and where they were left to wander for a new home. Ishmael, full of despair that his beloved father had abandon him threw himself down upon the hot desert sand. Mixed with both despair and rage, cursed his God for allowing his father to abandon him. As he struck the dry sands the impression made from his fist became filled with his heart felt tears and then a miracle happened. A large spring gushed fourth fresh water.
ron says: and resentment until this very day
ron says: my comment
diane says: bingo
diane says: but not entirely factual as the muslims split into warring factions
Blu says: His original name was Abram (Hebrew: ???????, Standard Avram Tiberian ?A?r?m) meaning either "exalted father" or "[my] father is exalted" (compare Abiram). Later in life he went by the name Abraham, often glossed as av hamon (goyim) "father of many (nations)" per Genesis 17:5, although it does not have any literal meaning in Hebrew.[1]
diane says: and kill each other
ron says: Ismael's reaction was "emotional" that is what you see with the Arabian peoples this very day...thus lacking in mental development which is the necessary key to be the chosen people for the new one God religion
diane says: see it with Italians, too. lol
ron says: thus Abrahams' next son is more highly developed/mental development and less emotional excess...that is why Isaac 's line became the chosen people
diane says: i can see emotional, just when mixed with abject poverty and ingorance is where it goes haywire
ron says: yes, Abram
ron says: In Ishmael astonishment, and excitement, he returned to his father's land to share the good news of the miracle. Abraham in his great joy to see his son still alive returned to the desert and commanded his army to build a great city in honor of his son and to proclaim him King of that region that had not prospered because of the lack of water.
ron says: besides that Ishmael was not the son of Sarah
diane says: Muslims sprung from Hebrew race...
ron says: but, of a woman of lower status, a concubine...not as wife
ron says: i would say so diane
ron says: i see all these as symbols
ron says: For generations, the tribes that sprang from the seed of Ishmael came to worship in the city of Mecca. As time went by and Christianity became the dominant religion in this part of the world problems arose.
diane says: Koran has much of our Christian Bible. Honors mary, mother of Jesus
ron says: With the spread of trade between nations - Mecca became a center for such trading. The Holy City became a city of lust, greed and prejudice. The Arabic people were ordered to pay for the privilege of coming to worship in the city built by their forefathers Abraham and his son Ishmael.
Blu says: That is pretty rotten
ron says: Soon the Arabic people saw that indeed the city was no longer holy, but run by ruthless traders that worshiped wealth, not God as was the practice for so many generations before this time. The Arabic people seeing the way things had turned, decided that this city, this religion had no place in their hearts - for Truth and the freedom to worship was not to be bought and sold like common stock. They abandon the city for centuries.
ron says: The Arabic people returned to their desert kingdoms only to return to their former ways of drinking, warring and other such carnal ways. It was centuries later that Mohammed was born. A seed of Ishmael, who was a seed of Abraham. Mohammed in his earlier years was a traveler with merchant caravans across the deserts.
diane says: yes pretty rotten. and also a total corruption of Christian virtues
ron says: Though he was not formally educated, he had great worldly experience as a traveler to many lands where he learned the various ways of many cultures. He believed for a time in the Christian interpretations of God and he understood the importance of recognizing the One God and the powerful meaning of Love; however, he had a great internal agony because the people of his blood were lost and divided and had no focus upon spiritual growth.
ron says: Years later, as an older man Mohammed was to have a great vision and in this vision he was told that he was to be a new prophet that would unite his people. After many months of study under the guidance of the Arch Angel Gabriel, Mohammed began to preach in the streets of the One God whom he called Allah.
diane says: as opposed to Yewah
ron says: He declared that he was the prophet of his people and sent by God to reunite his people on the spiritual path. For many years he had to struggle between wanting to unite his people and dealing with the mockeries of his listeners. Slowly with perseverance and faith in God's love and compassion he began to win them over and the rest is history.
ron says: It is not ironic that one of the most populated religions, if not indeed the most populated in the world, was perhaps started because of the bigotry and prejudices of another. Yet, somehow in the scheme of life - this was all planned. Soon religions all over the world will shed their coats of prejudice and self-righteousness and make a conscious recognition that they are indeed one people, one family and all children of the One God - the God of Love.
diane says: Amen
ron says: A time is soon to come when wealth and social status will mean little in comparison to the human acts of compassion, generosity and tolerance. The wealth of every wo/man will be guided by a wealth of spirit, free, to every man and woman who chooses selfless acts of love over personal gratification. As Jesus taught, "For what so ever you do onto the least of my children, so too you do onto me."
ron says: A variety of faiths (religions) have risen to add variety and choice. Up to this present time, a one religion world would have been a huge obstacle, beyond anything we have overcome thus far in our awakening quest. The separation of people, has kept the manipulators, religious fanatics and misguided warmongers from casting their long-dark shadows over the world.
true_eagle says: yea ...like that nut from iran
ron says: Jesus was far ahead of His time as other prophets and teachers were ahead of their times down through the ages. Still, in each instance their timing was perfect. In the case of Jesus, his teachings would take the whole maturation period of the Piscean age to be fully understood. Even now as this planet makes its passing through the heavens this maturation period has shown signs of progress.
diane says: President Tom
true_eagle says: yea
ron says: with the help of Edgar Cayce, of course :)
diane says: of course! lol
ron says: This Age, the Piscean age, brought about the end of the Roman Empire and a new world power - those who would control the seas. The ruling element during this Age is Water. Water being the quencher of Fire (the element of the previous age), became a greater influence as the age progressed.
ron says: The new world powers, England, France and Spain controlled the seas. Through greater use of ships and expansion of world trade the New World (the Americas) were discovered by the Europeans.
ron says: The discovery of the New World helped open wo/mankind's consciousness in a time when she had slipped into the time called the dark ages. The discovery of the New World was the result of a quickening in the advances in science, art, writing, music and intellectual thought. This Renaissance or rebirth took place as the latter centuries of the Piscean Age emerged.
ron says: Three centuries after the birth of America did the Earth entered into the cusp or transition period between the Ages of Pisces and Aquarius. The power of Air, the element associated with Aquarius, is slowly becoming more dominate over the Water age. Since this transition, if you are to look into your Earth's history, (beginning in the 1800's) you will note the advancement in inventions that are reflections of Air influence:
diane says: those magnificent men in their flying machines. lol
ron says: The telegraph, the phonograph, the radio, electricity, air travel, telecommunications, space travel, and exploration into paranormal and spiritual phenomenon’s. America herself had taken on the Symbol of the Great Bird that flies the sky-the Bald Eagle, the bird with the white crown. White represents the purity of thought and the substance of highest spiritual attainment.
ron says: It was in the Piscean age that a different concept was introduced into the consciousness of man. It was the man called Jesus that brought a message that would provide the quantum leap in the consciousness of man. This leap was no other than God, is within. His life became, if not a model, an inspiration for others to follow in preparing the way for the coming age of enlightenment.
ron says: Jesus demonstrated through his Life, a selflessness which resulted in his own quantum leap from mortality to his immortal Resurrection. Though his work is not finished, the concept which he was to bring forth was made complete. Jesus understood that he alone could only do so much, that it was up to each individual to add to the true resurrection of the Christ that is truly the body of humanity. "The works that I do you shall also do, and greater works then these shall you do..."
ron says: From the spread of Christianity in the early centuries AD, the concept of the Holy Trinity arose, and for this reason, the teachings of Jesus have been greatly ignored by others of different faiths that follow the One God in heaven theory. The Trinity became understood as there being three Gods: The Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost.
ron says: It has not been totally agreed upon by Christians leaders and scholars even to this day, exactly how the Divine Power is transformed from one to the other.
