ron says: 10: Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
ron says: "The word of my patience" is the RESPONSIBILITY of keeping the memory pure and accepting the obligations which came to Jesus because of such memory. "My patience" is the measure of the (total) acceptance of responsibility which Jesus took in his final "hour of temptation."
ron says: There seems to be a shift of focus here from Jesus' memory to that of people in general. Yet this is really not so, for both are alluding to temptation and patience. Remember that the Lord's Prayer refers to "temptation" and "the Name" both. This seems to set up a kind of bargain between the first two sections: "because thou hast kept...I will keep," yet this is not the case here. Memory has
ron says: kept pure the word, the creative purpose, and responses; and Jesus is as if talking to another god or force, which he is (memory). The proper use of memory keeps the hour of temptation from hurting the participant. Remember the temptation in the wilderness when Jesus said to Satan, "Get thee behind me." We all must meet a final hour of temptation (eventually) just as Jesus did.
ron says: (I believe Jesus' final hour of temptation was neither in the wilderness nor in the Garden of Gethsemane, as we shall see later.)
ron says: We must not overlook the observation that" all the world" must meet such an hour. This relates to all people, and some such possibility is pointed to in Edgar Cayce's answer about the' 'second death." (281-37, A-7 and Rev. 20:14) If his answer is correct, and I believe it is, there must be reincarnation as well as evolution, as we learn just what we OUGHT to do - and do it.
ron says: 11: Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
ron says: "I come quickly" is saying that the spirit answers quickly to the spirit in which we "hold fast" to an ideal built on the ideas surrounding our memories. Either the Christ Spirit or the Holy Spirit
ron says: "Hold fast" refers to both the person and the memory - for memory is an activity of the mind.
ron says: "That no man take thy crown" is, again, a reference to FAITHFUL MEMORY. The crown is both the ability to remember and the holding fast in the face of meeting self and accepting responsibility for what happens to us - patience.
ron says: The crown, of course, is a symbol of power - but also of responsibility. The power to command performance and respect demands acceptance of responsibility both imposed and inherent.
ron says: 12: Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
ron says: The most potent of memories are spoken of here. The verse is not speaking of people as people; it is speaking of memories as if they were people. It must be remembered that memories are FIXED ideas in consciousness with which we identify as BEING US. We are responsible for them; and all in all they really ARE us.
ron says: In this context "him that overcometh" is ANY MEMORY which is strong and proper enough to become a pillar of strength among our automatic responses and hence one with the white stone in 2: 17.
ron says: These memories become such bulwarks of strength to other ideas when tested through various expressions as to be worthy, as "a pillar in the temple" of God. The BODY is the temple of God where we meet all we have created along our way toward becoming one with Him.
ron says: The memory patterns impressed upon memory cells - so as to remain true to their inherent response capabilities and in accord with the creative forces in the body - unfold as PILLARS OF STRENGTH among the body responses to whatever happens outside us, as it did in Jesus. This is what makes the stone white in Rev. 2:17, the pure memory response to the first cause. If the unfoldment is back to first cause then no memory is expressed, but the responses in the body are
ron says: from the pure spirit in the life forces themselves. Hence they, as memories, "go no more out." These cells then, as intelligences (for they have a mind of their own), should bear' 'the name of my God," and "the name of the city of my God," which is new Jerusalem. As we shall see later this is the name of a NEW UNDERSTANDING - even for the body cells themselves - a new experience for them as they express their new purposes.
ron says: "Which cometh down out of heaven from my God" is the new understanding (new directions) going to and through the cells them-selves as experience, the pure spirit of the purpose of "for others." They are impressed with the life force and its first cause. The phrase "coming from heaven" means not just from the conscious mind but from the universal life force. These cells and memories then bear the "new name" of the Son of man - for they ARE him.
ron says: 13: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
ron says: As explained under verse 12 above, when the cells of memory HEAR the Spirit - the first cause - then they can turn their attention to other stimuli from INSIDE and hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
ron says: I consider it to be important to know that, in effect, a cell must be robbed of its memory assignments (from us) by our STANDING STILL (as in meditation) before happenings; otherwise we respond in habit patterns - the usual way. What is involved is an effort of letting be whatever is before us by the RELEASING of our hold on our memories, stopping their effects on our responses, and allowing the Spirit to cause NEW BODY RESPONSES.
ron says: Remember, hearing is by vibration arousing a reaction of memory patterns within the body cells. When the cells only hear those vibrations of creative, unadulterated forces moving through the body, they are hearing what the Spirit saith to all the cells in the body -and these comprise the churches.
ron says: In answering questions about the placement of the endocrine system glands in the chart in reference to the Lord's Prayer, a reading said this:

Here is indicated the manner in which it was given as to the purpose for which it was given; not as an only way but as a way that would answer for those that sought to be - as others - seekers for a way, an understanding, to the relationships to the Creative Forces. What name? All the names that may have been as a material experience through an earthly sojourn, or all the names that may have been through the experience of an entity in that environ

ron says: Then as has been indicated this becomes relative, as is signified in the indication as given to the number, which is of John's own. But as has been given, every influence - you see - is relative! Hence the name is relative to that which is accomplished by the soul in its sojourn throughout its whole experience; whether in those environs about this individual sphere or another - this
ron says: individual sphere meaning thine own sun, thine own planets with all of their attributes (does an earth mind comprehend such?) and it carried through with what is its relative force to that which has been or is the activity of the entity-soul (not a body now at all!) toward Constructive Force or God, or God's infinitive force to that integral activity of the soul in its sojourn. ron says: relative. And for the finite mind to say Jane, John, Joe, James or Jude would mean only as the vibrations of those bring the relative force or influence to which, through which an entity's sojourns have brought the concrete experience in anyone given or definite period of activity!
ron says: Was one named John by chance? Was one named Joe or Llewellyn by chance? No; they are relative! While it may be truly in the material plane relative because you have a rich aunt by that name, or relative because an uncle might be named that - but these carry then the vibrations of same; and in the end the name is the sum total of what the soul-entity in all of its vibratory forces has borne toward the Creative Force itself.
