On my birthday, my sister gave me a huge gift bag of books. My sister is one who is "on the path" and knows me pretty darn well. You could say we have been co-hearts in crime for many life times! Every book in the bag was one that spoke to her. Everyone should be so lucky to have a sister like this. So I will probably be posting about the whole bag here before I am through. I just finished the first one I read and this is it.
I like Redfield. He hasn't said anything new here but he connects. I will give this book to my daughter to read because I hope in time she will take something from it with her. It's that kind of book. A story with a little spiritual bang for the buck. The kind of book people who aren't actually looking for a spiritual truth might read because it is an adventure story. My daughter is one of those people that Redfield describes at the end of the book, a kid who is more powerful than those who have come before. She is a world changer, so is my son.
I am not going to quote the whole book, but I like this part. Pg. 233 "They aren't enemies, they're people, souls in fear. And we must acknowledge the Angels fully, and very deliberately visualize them coming to the men. Then with all your expectations, visualize them amplifying our prayer-fields. Empower the Angels fully to energize the higher selves of those men beyond what we can do alone, uplifting the men into an awareness that is incapable of evil."
Redfield talks about interceding and how to do this more fully and correctly. I have to say I agree with it in principle. You have to be in the right state to do these things, free will is definitely in question here. But as it is presented in the book I do not disagree with it.
I like the idea of working more fully with your angels. The times that I have, turned out to be very rewarding. So I say this book is a good read, but Redfield is not my new guru!
