Such a horrible situation. Listening to the news this morning and hearing the gunfire. Knowing our children are facing death. Living under conditions that most of us will never know. As hard as it is to find something to affirm in this situation I know that I have to. For every soul in this awful war God's blessings are flowing to them. Miracles happen. Each life is directly held in the hands of The Maker. Every sigh is heard, every tear is felt, every life is precious.
I offer this prayer for us all.
Heavenly Father/Mother Creator,
We look to Your Grace and Mercy in these times of trial. We affirm Your power and glory, we affirm Your love and grace. We commit to You all that have passed through the other door and remember that death is a part of life. We surround those who have passed with love and light, guidance to Your Eternal Presence and healing.
We affirm Your power to speak and make known Your will to all the worlds leaders, let Your desires be the desires of the world, let Your will be our will. Comfort Your children our Father/Mother, create in us the living peace that You may be Glorified and manifested on earth.
Amen

I am going to post a link to a Cayce reading on peace. This qoute is taken from that page.
As for the individuals here - peace must begin within self before there may be the activity or the application of self in such a manner as to bring peace in thine own household, in thine own heart, in thine own vicinity, in thine own state or nation. And only one agreement: Worship God in a manner that is in keeping with the dictates of Thy conscience.
When there has been in the earth those groups that have sufficiently desired and sought peace, peace will begin. It must be within self.
edgarcayce.org/about_ec/cayce_on/times_crisis/index.html
The upshot of this is, if you do not have peace within yourself, how can you expect there to be peace in the world?
Be still and know God.

Enter a state of meditation.
Visualize that we are standing in a circle holding hands. As you feel the energy rising within you allow it to circulate through your body. See the energy as a beautiful radiant light, healing as it energizes you. Allow the Love to enter each cell of your body. As you "feel" the energy filling you, imagine that the light is sent through your left hand to the person next to you. Visualize and send the energy through the circle until you see the circle as a circle of beautiful sparkling radiant light. Receive the energy back through your right hand. Feel the energy increased as each person adds to it. Imagine the light filling the circle. Imagine anyone and everyone that you want to send healing energy to in the middle of the circle. Begin to visualize the healing energy radiating outward. See it filling the room you are in, the house, the neighborhood, the streams, the trees, the highways, the lakes, the buildings, the people, the very air, the city, the state, the mountains, the country, the oceans and the earth. See it flowing through the rivers and streams till the whole earth is nothing but radiant white light. Hold the entire earth for a moment in this beautiful radiant light. Once you visualize the earth full of light then allow the energy to slowly return. From each nation, each state, each city to your home, to the circle, to you. Let it be. Close your chakras. If you are feeling an excess of energy then continue to pray for others till you return to normal.
This meditation can be done with on line groups, you do not have to be in the same room together to do this. If you would like a copy of this meditation feel free to email us. Better yet, use your beautiful imagination to create your own.

;D You know those crazy emails that fill up your mail box that have been forwarded from everyone on the Internet? Yeah, I hate those. But every now and then somebody sends you a good one. I have about 30 emails right now from Ral, I love you Ral. Trying to get through them everyday is a lot of work. Another is coming in as I type this! LOL
Well, today I got one from Ral that has this link in it and I thought it was pretty cute. It's one of those funny animals pics. Worth looking at in and of itself.
www.earthstewards.org/cute_pics/cute_pics.htm
Now you may ask, lady what do these pics have to do with WORLD PEACE? It so happens this little set of cute animal pictures has a link on it to a group I had never heard of. I checked it out and I like what I see. Now if you click on any one of these links you will be at the web page and can find them all there. But I am so impressed with what I see that I want every link I liked right here!
This next link is about the Seven fold path of Peace.
www.earthstewards.org/ESN-7PoP.asp
This next link is a positive affirmation of your power!
www.earthstewards.org/ESN-sayyes.asp
This next link is a wonderful concept of what individuals can do to actually go to war torn countries and person by person create WORLD PEACE! www.compassionatelistening.org/
This last link is a link to Peace links on the net
www.earthstewards.org/ESN-Links.asp
My last point here on this is that there is something we can all do to create world peace. It is as individual to each of us as our finger prints. You have something to do, to offer. Find it, do it. Because while we are sitting here enjoying the comfort of our homes, the services of the Internet and good warm meals people are dying, children are laying if filth starving because their parents are dead, a baby will never know his father because he just died on foreign soil, a woman is raped, and another world leader promoting a holocaust just socked another billion in a Swiss bank. If this pisses you off do something, anything.
As I typed this I have 3 more emails from Ral which brings my total up to 27 unread, and in his way he is doing something about WORLD PEACE just by being himself...gotta love it. Spirit moves as it will...

I had no idea when I posted about Iraq that I was going to start a series of posts about peace. It seems to be evolving all by itself. Every time I hear of another boy or man killed in this war I feel like another piece of me dies. Deep Sigh... Meryl Ann Butler's Art for Peace and Spiritual Politics Gallery
"I have seen the dynamic of faith in self, faith in one's ability to change things, faith in one's ability to prevail against the odds through an appeal to the spirit of the world for help, through an appeal to the spirit of community for participation, through an appeal to the spirit of co-operation, which multiplies energy…When you feel this principal (of unity) at work, when you see spiritual principals form the basis of active citizenship, you are reminded once again of the merging of stardust and spirit. There is creativity. There is magic. There is alchemy." Please visit this beautiful ladie's page!www.creativespirit.net/MabArt/politics/index.htm

I truely believe that this country is meant to serve a higher purpose. My own son is a U.S. Marine, and no one could be prouder of him than me. (I love you Jacob) Something is terribly wrong here and I have found yet another page that explores the Divine purpose of the American people. Please read it!Can there be any doubt that this is the moment of transformation? That the eaglet born 200 years ago has grown into her wingspan and is poised to soar? She invites each one of us to follow the leadings of our deepest destiny, the passion of our soul, and the sacred Truth of our hearts to provide the wind beneath her wings. And in that syncopated dance entwining right and left, feminine and masculine, heart and head; finally Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam can be reunited in the dance of dynamic peace and rise to the celestial heights in the experiment of democracy.
We have received nothing less than an invitation to fly.

Way to much depression in that last post. Have to bring a little more hope to this and I do have hope for us all. Apparently I am not alone! We shall be free We shall be free So have a little faith And hold out We shall be free SOME TALKING IN THE BACKGROUND This ain't comin' from no prophet Just an ordinary man When I close my eyes I see The way this world shall be When we all walk hand in hand When the last child cries for a crust of bread When the last man dies for just words that he said When there's shelter over the poorest head Then we shall be free When the last thing we notice is the color of skin And the first thing we look for is the beauty within When the skies and the oceans are clean again Then we shall be free We shall be free We shall be free So, have a little faith and hold out 'Cause we shall be free When we're free to love anyone we choose When this world's big enough for all different views When we're all free to worship From our own kind of pew Then we shall be free We shall be free We shall be free We shall be free Stand straight, walk proud 'Cause we shall be free And when money talks for the very last time And nobody walks a step behind When there's only one race and that's mankind Then we shall be free We shall be free We shall be free Together, Forever We shall be free We shall be free We shall be free Stand straight, pour out We shall be free We shall be free We shall be free Together, Forever We shall be free

Good vs. Evil Enlightenment Beyond Terrorism By Wendell Charles Beane “ … the time cometh … that whosoever killeth you will think he doeth God service.” (John 16:2 KJV) “There are … two principles, two conflicting forces in the earth today: the prince of this world, and that principle that says to every soul, ‘Fear not, I have overcome the world and the prince of the world hath nothing in me.’ Can ye say that? Ye must! That is thy hope . . .” (EC reading 3976-29) President George W. Bush said that on September 11, 2001 “our nation saw evil!” There is one thing of which we can all be absolutely certain: Not only is there a terrorist war being waged against America and certain of her allies, especially Israel, there is a cosmic war of terror being waged against the powers of goodness in the universe. www.edgarcayce.org/venture_inward/01022002/enlightenment_beyond_terrorism.htm

Sent: Tuesday, November 30, 2004 6:27 PM Subject: Fw: THE TRUE STORY ABOUT THE MARINE THAT SHOT AN INSURGENT
The following is an email from one of our fellow Marine moms about the story that is being aired on the news in regard to the Marine shooting the wounded prisoner. PLEASE DO NOT EDIT THIS EMAIL, but feel free to share it:
Good Morning Everybody.
The following is an email from my son regarding the NBC report (with embedded reporter Kevin Sites), concerning the Marine who is being investigated for "murdering" the insurgent in Fallaja. I will be sending his mail to every news program's email I can find. I find it sickening that this Kevin Sites is even allowed to be embedded with our Marines, as this isn't the first report I've heard from him that took on a decidely unfriendly tone. My son also gave me permission to release it to anyone that wants to pass it on, as long as it remains unedited.

Date: Tue, 16 Nov 2004 07:27:55 -0800 (PST) From: old tymer <email address edited> Subject: The stories you don't hear... To: l
This is one story of many that people normally don't hear, and one that everyone does.
This is just one most don't hear:
A young Marine and his cover man cautiously enter a room just recently filled with insurgents armed with Ak-47's and RPG's. There are three dead, another wailing in pain. The insurgent can be heard saying, "Mister, mister! Diktoor, diktoor (doctor)!" He is badly wounded, lying in a pool of his own blood. The Marine and his cover man slowly walk toward the injured man, scanning to make sure no enemies come from behind. In a split second, the pressure in the room greatly exceeds that of the outside, and the concussion seems to be felt before the blast is heard. Marines outside rush to the room, and look in horror as the dust gradually settles. The result is a room filled with the barely recognizable remains of the deceased, caused by an insurgent setting off several pounds of explosives. The Marines' remains are gathered by teary eyed comrades, brothers in arms, and shipped home in a box. The families can only mourn over a casket and a picture of their loved one, a life cut short by someone who hid behind a white flag. But no one hears these stories, except those who have lived to carry remains of a friend, and the families who loved the dead. No one hears this, so no one cares.
This is the story everyone hears:
A young Marine and his fire team cautiously enter a room just recently filled with insurgents armed with AK-47's and RPG's. There are three dead, another wailing in pain. The insugent can be heard saying, "Mister, mister! Diktoor, diktoor (doctor)!" He is badly wounded.Suddenly, he pulls from under his bloody clothes a grenade, without the pin. The explosion rocks the room, killing one Marine, wounding the others. The young Marine catches shrapnel in the face. The next day, same Marine, same type of situation, a different story. The young Marine and his cover man enter a room with two wounded insurgents. One lies on the floor in puddle of blood, another against the wall. A reporter and his camera survey the wreckage inside, and in the background can be heard the voice of a Marine, "He's moving, he's moving!" The pop of a rifle is heard, and the insurgent against the wall is now dead.
Minutes, hours later, the scene is aired on national television, and the Marine is being held for commiting a war crime. Unlawful killing.
And now, another Marine has the possibility of being burned at the stake for protecting the life of his brethren. His family now wrings their hands in grief, tears streaming down their face. Brother, should I have been in your boots, I, too, would have done the same.
For those of you who don't know, we Marines, Band of Brothers, Jarheads, Leathernecks, etc., do not fight because we think it is right, or think it is wrong. We are here for the man to our left, and the man to our right. We choose to give our lives so that the man or woman next to us can go home and see their husbands, wives, children, friends and families.
For those of you who sit on your couches in front of your television, and choose to condemn this man's actions, I have but one thing to say to you. Get out of you recliner, lace up my boots, pick up a rifle, leave your family behind and join me. See what I've seen, walk where I have walked. To those of you who support us, my sincerest gratitude. You keep us alive.
I am a Marine currently doing his second tour in Iraq. These are my opinions and mine alone. They do not represent those of the Marine Corps or of the US military, or any other.
Sincerely,
LCPL USMC

It was quiet that day, the guns and the mortars, and land mines for some reason hadn't been heard. The young soldier knew it was Sunday, the holiest day of the week. As he was sitting there, he got out an old deck of cards and laid them out across his bunk. Just then an army sergeant came in and said, "Why aren't you with the rest of the platoon?" The soldier replied, "I thought I would stay behind and spend some time with the Lord." The sergeant said, "Looks to me like you're going to play cards." The soldier said, "No, sir. You see, since we are not allowed to have Bibles or other spiritual books in this country, I've decided to talk to the Lord by studying this deck of cards."
The sergeant asked in disbelief, "How will you do that?" "You see the Ace, Sergeant? It reminds me that there is only one God. The Two represents the two parts of the Bible, Old and New Testaments. The Three represents the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. The Four stands for the Four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The Five is for the five virgins that were ten but only five of them were glorified. The Six is for the six days it took God to create the Heavens and Earth. The Seven is for the day God rested after making His Creation. The Eight is for the family of Noah and his wife, their three sons and their wives - the eight people God spared from the flood that destroyed the Earth. The Nine is for the lepers that Jesus cleansed of leprosy. He cleansed ten, but nine never thanked Him. The Ten represents the Ten Commandments that God handed down to Moses on tablets made of stone. The Jack is a reminder of Satan, one of God's first angels, but he got kicked out of heaven for his sly and wicked ways and is now the joker of eternal hell. The Queen stands for the Virgin Mary. The King stands for Jesus, for he is the King of all kings. When I count the dots on all the cards, I come up with 365 total, one for every day of the year. There are a total of 52 cards in a deck; each is a week - 52 weeks in a year. The four suits represent the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
Each suit has thirteen cards - there are exactly thirteen weeks in a quarter. So when I want to talk to God and thank Him, I just pull out this old deck of cards and they remind me of all that I have to be thankful for."
The sergeant just stood there. After a minute, with tears in his eyes and pain in his heart, he said, "Soldier, can I borrow that deck of cards?"
Please let this be a reminder and take time to pray for all of our soldiers who are being sent away, putting their lives on the line fighting for us.
Prayer for the Military.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen. When you read this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our service men and women all around the world. Of all the gifts you could give a Soldier, prayer is the very best one.
God Bless America's Troops
Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life, for better or for worse.

The Terrorist Attack: What I Witnessed on the Inner Planes By P. M. H. Athingyer
ays before the terrorist attack o ccurred, I noticed a level of Dfrustration, almost a low-level anger in the general populace. This began in early September, with some people calling me to report dreams of an explosion, of a plane crashing into a tall building. Several were specific, seeing this event as a terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York, but they didn’t know when. I knew “something” major was about to happen. When I heard the news Tuesday morning I instantly became a child again, watching newsreels of planes bombing Pearl Harbor. All the sights, sounds, screams, smells – the utter horror of it – came back. You cannot protect small children from the impact of an event this massive. They know. Even the little ones. And they need caring adults to talk them through the scenes as they unfold, adults with enough sense to let them ask questions, draw pictures, write poems, cry, talk. Children can adjust if they can express their feelings, and be heard. Once I could shake myself free of images I associated with Pearl Harbor, I went into a state of prayer and meditation and witnessed what was happening on the inner planes to those involved in the attacks. An unexpected death, accident, or murder often confuses or disorients a departing soul. And that is exactly what I saw … bodies and body parts flailing in the air as souls twisted around in disarray from the trauma. I couldn’t separate the dead from the dying from those who survived. There was that much confusion. Too many. Too fast. I joined with others across our country and the world who were helping in the only way any of us could at that moment – through prayer. Prayer is powerful. It can heal, guide, inform, steady, warm, soothe, calm. By affirming God’s Greater Will, we free ourselves from judgments, attachments, and desires, and place our focus and our intent where it will do the most good for the highest possible purpose. Instinctively we call upon Source in this manner, irrespective of religion or belief. We are “programmed” to do this, not by what we were taught, but by the beating of our heart. Heart wisdom supersedes the intellect. It is the connecting link between us – that of love. Wednesday morning I again entered that state where the inner planes were fully visible. Instead of confusion and disarray, the departed souls were forming a huge wave, like a “hand” stretching. They were coming together as if one energy mass and they were “waking up,” becoming aware. I have helped at many tragedies and led prayer vigils, but never have I seen anything quite like this. Thursday the soul wave was fully formed, each soul totally conscious and possessed of knowing. The sound they made, their tonal vibration, was one of the most beautiful sounds I have ever heard. Music, the music of a great love, the love of those willing to die for the benefit of others, overwhelmed me. Before I could think, the wave and I merged. A Wake-up Call This is what the wave revealed. Each person who died, regardless of who, victim or perpetrator, had agreed before birth to be part of this event – to be there at that location at that time as that person. They had not “contracted” as souls to die, necessarily, but to be present and accounted for, to be part of the energy that would ensure this event occurred. It was only as the moment neared that final decisions were made. A wake-up call was needed, one horrendous enough to reverberate across our country and the globe, affecting every man, woman, and child in every nation. Many are those who have grown complacent in life – rigid in beliefs, uncaring in the consequences of personal activities, ever needful of another addiction to prove we are alive. The people who died sacrificed their lives to make the statement that none of us can continue to live the way we have. It is time to awaken. America, in particular, has been protected by oceans, soft borders, and a legacy of people who put God first in their lives – not because of any one religion but because of a spiritual truth that burned in their soul. That fire became a beacon to the world, grounded in law, tempered by a willingness to air our disagreements and learn from our mistakes. Our complacency comes from putting “things” ahead of service, consum– erism gone mad, and spirituality deemed little more than new-age nonsense. What Is to Come? In the wave I learned that the terrorist attack on New York City and the Pentagon will not be the only horror to occur. There will be more: this year around the holidays, next year from summer on, and throughout 2003. Even the Presidency of the United States will not be immune to the force of the call that has sounded. Nor is the enemy who we think. Anyone who uses drugs for purposes other than medical is directly responsible for the destruction of at least five countries. Anyone who lashes out at another because of race, religion, or gender has become what they claim to hate. Friday I made my choice to be part of the healing of our country and our world; to add my voice to the voices in that wave. They are my heroes and I am humbled by their sacrifice. Huge numbers of those still alive have made the same choice I have. The energy of our wave steadily broadens and is stretching far afield. Freedom is not free. It demands that we be responsible and self-disciplined; that we honor what is worthy and each other. Ihave no doubt about what I have wit- Inessed on the inner planes of this tragedy. Nor do I have any doubt about the continuance of this wake-up call until we as a people fully awaken. God is the God of all, present and available to each and every person. To quote Longfellow: “If we could read the secret histories of our enemies, we should find in each man’s life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.” If we listen to Longfellow, we can discover options for handling conflict and difference. War is not the inevitable response to attack. When people agree to disagree, when healing is more important than revenge, peace can happen.

Remote viewers predict Saddam’s capture
Edgar Cayce’s clairvoyance is a remarkable example of remote viewing, but how well can ordinary people do the same? Those who took part in the November 2003 Atlantic University remote viewing seminar, conducted by researcher Stephan A. Schwartz, discovered the real-world answer.
On November 3, students were asked to “remote view” the future to solve what was then one of the most pressing challenges facing the United States: Where was Saddam Hussein?
Schwartz is the internationally recognized author of The Secret Vaults of Time, The Alexandria Project, Mind Rover, Remote Viewing: The Modern Mental Martial Art, and other books. After teaching the basic skills, students were asked to “describe the location of Saddam Hussein at the time of his capture or discovery by U.S. or Coalition forces.”
The session was conducted as an authentic double-blind experiment, as neither Schwartz, nor the viewers, nor anyone else in the U.S. knew the whereabouts of the former Iraqi leader. This same consensus protocol was used by Schwartz in previous experiments, in which lost archaeological sites and shipwrecks were found. The sense impression data produced by the seminar students was photocopied and distributed to several people, and the originals turned over to an independent third party – in this case, Atlantic University Administrator Herk Stokely, who placed the session documents in an envelope, which was then sealed before a notary and placed in the A.R.E. vault.
After being collected, the students’ data was analyzed, and two categories of impressions were given particular consideration: (1) points of consensus concerning Saddam’s physical location; and, (2) “low a priori” observations (hard-to-predict details, such as his appearance) about the day of his capture.
“This consensus analysis technique is analogous to that used by police detectives when reconstructing an event based on eyewitness observations,”
Schwartz said. “Each person provides independent data. Not everyone will see every aspect, and not everything they say will be correct, however sincerely they mean it.”
By comparing the individual impressions, patterns can emerge, and certain observations stand out. Through the use of this consensus approach, a reasonable approximation of what actually occurred was constructed. The remote viewing data is used in the same way, though it describes an event that has not yet occurred.
Analysis of the sense impressions of the 47 participants yielded the following future scenario: Saddam Hussein will be found crouching in a subterranean room or cave, which is reached by a tunnel. It will be beneath an ordinary-looking house on the outskirts of a small village near Tikrit. The house will be part of a small compound that is bordered on one side by a dirt road and, on the other, by a nearby river. There will be vegetation, including a large palm tree in the area.
Hussein himself will look like a homeless person, with dirty rough clothing, long ratty hair, and a substantial and equally ratty salt-and-pepper beard. He will have only two or three supporters with him at the time of his discovery. He will have a gun, and a quantity of money with him. He will be defiant but will not put up any resistance; in fact he will be tired and dispirited.
On November 7, the Pentagon announced that a special “covert commando force to hunt Saddam Hussein” had been established. On December 15, hundreds of soldiers from the Raider Brigade, along with cavalry engineers, artillery, aviation, and special operations forces, prepared to move on two locations.
“In terms of the remote viewing information,” Schwartz said, “it is ironic that even with reliable information provided by an informant, U.S. forces initially failed to grab Saddam in the Tikrit area.”
The following day, in that same area, U.S. troops finally captured Saddam beneath a building in a “spider hole,” disheveled, and with money and a gun.
Comparing the remote viewers’ consensus with published newspaper accounts of Hussein’s capture revealed some striking correlations (quotes are from various news sources):
“Inside that shack, a Styrofoam plug closed Saddam’s subterranean hideaway. Dirt and a rug covered the entryway to the hole.” “U.S. forces encountered no resistance during Red Dawn.” “Saddam was armed with a pistol, but showed no resistance during his capture.” “He was a tired man and also a man resigned to his fate,” said Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, commander of U.S. forces. “Soldiers also recovered two AK-47 rifles, $750,000 in $100 denominations… in the raid.” “Troops took two other unidentified Iraqis affiliated with Saddam into custody.” As impressive as the written descriptions of the capture were drawings that accompanied them. A few examples make this clear. Compare a remote viewed drawing of the capture house (Figure A) with the schematic of the site provided by the military (Figure B).
“This was just an experiment,” Schwartz emphasized. “We had no access to military forces, and, without that, there is no way to operationalize such information. People often forget that remote viewing is just a piece of a complex puzzle, not some magic bullet that alone solves the problem. However, it is difficult to resist the conclusion that, had we been able to get it to someone in the command structure who was prepared to act on it, this data might have been quite useful.”
Schwartz said that in addition to archaeological sites, remote viewing has been used in the past to describe sites in the former Soviet Union, and to locate a downed aircraft important to National Security, a fact acknowledged by President Jimmy Carter. Schwartz also says that literally hundreds of cases are documented in which remote viewing has helped in solving crimes.
Schwartz will again teach the techniques used in the Saddam Hussein remote viewing in a three-day Atlantic University seminar, April 3-5. For information, call 1-800-428-1512, or e-mail registrar @atlanticuniv.edu.
