My friends come up with some pretty interesting stuff. The following was sent to me by a friend and it's the first time I have ever heard this particular reading. I think it's a very good explanation of what an "old soul" is! "I don't know if you all have looked at todays "Think on these Things" from Edgar Cayce's readings., however, todays reading excerpt really did intrigue me. So I found the entire reading for this lady, who was 36 at the time. It pretty much reaffirmed to me what I had believed and maintained to others all along, which is the "Will" which all of us think sometimes is the be all that ends all, so easily accomplished, really is not. Accdg. to this reading, Cayce tells this person, the "Will" for her will be so much easier than for others. Because, as he notes, she has been not only in many lifetimes, making her an "older" soul, but in addition to this, has the benefit of many sojourns throughout many "spheres" as he calls the many consciousnesses. He does make the comparison between her (an old soul) vs (a newer or less experienced soul)" Many thanks to her for this insight!
