I love to surf the web looking at NDN pages, last night WIS found this quote and told me that now he knows where I get my attitude! LOL, well here is the quote. "Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view and demand that they respect yours." ~Chief Tecumseh~ I do love that quote and have the deepest respect for Tecumseh. We found the qoute on Two Dogs page geocities.com/twodogs05/Most of you that know us know that we are members of an organization called the Association for Research and Enlightenment. The organization was formed to research the readings of a psychic named Edgar Cayce. Mr. Cayce left a rich legacy of psychic readings and the organization was born to study and apply the information. I personally have the deepest respect for the original intent of this organization. Mr. Cayce did help many, many people with this information obtained in an unconscious state. All the readings were recorded for future study. Mr. Cayce himself never remembered anything he said while giving these readings. His health applications literally saved lives and made life livable for some that would have had horribly disrupted lives. Mr. Cayce also gave information that revealed things of a spiritual nature and I am drawn to this information too. You know when you hear the truth because it resonates within you, strikes a chord deep inside you. Everyone has this and everyone is drawn to the things that will help them. Chief Tecumseh's quote is like that for me, rings the bell so to speak. I am very sure Mr. Cayce would have agreed with him. Now wouldn't it be interesting if we could put those two in a room together and listen to them converse? Chief Tecumseh has my admiration for what he attempted to do. He had enough insight to know that if the People did not unite that the white man would destroy them. He almost succeeded in his attempt to unite the People in stopping the invaders to this continent. If he had, this world would be a very different place today. Chief Tecumseh's feat of uniting the people came at a very high price and the lengths he went to accomplish this demands the respect of everyone. A warrior with a vision and a true heart. A hero under any ones definition. Which brings me back to a point I wish to make clear for any who question my recent actions. Let me repeat Chief Tecumseh's quote. "Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view and demand that they respect yours." I have recently taken a sabbatical from the A.R.E. chat. Conditions there became to judgmental and harsh for me to participate fully. I have no time for those that would participate in lies and hypocrisy. Especially from those who claim to have any spiritual insight what so ever. I also think if you dish it out you better be prepared to take it. If it's good enough for you to give then it's good enough for you to get back. I have no taste for cowards, spiritual or otherwise. In my opinion if you don't stand up to the darkness then you have joined it. There is a darkness in the A.R.E. chat. Confessed liars who readily admit they are lying can see no harm in it. Liars who repeat their lies are not expected to change their ways but allowed to continue in their arrogance unchallenged. Susceptible minds are poisoned and all continues on to maintain the status qou. It is a sad day that this is allowed to continue in a chat that bears the logo of the Association for research and Enlightenment. So even though that chat remains on our web page, go there with this disclaimer in mind. The A.R.E. does not claim any responsibility for what goes on there. Don't go there expecting perfection because you will not find it. What you will find are struggling souls, just like you will find in every other chat on the Internet. To those in the A.R.E. chat that are loving and kind, you have my respect. To the rest of you, I will be back and I will continue to hold you accountable. Just consider me the aspect of God that is your little Blu reminder. So here I applaud Chief Tecumseh, and do my best to apply his wisdom in my life. I also applaud Mr. Cayce and continue to take the good I find in the readings and apply them as I am able. Let love, life, and hope be the motivating forces in my thoughts day by day. Edgar Cayce reading 281 - 23

As my lovely Blu said, there are a lot of things going on in the A.R.E. Chat Room that are underhanded, disgraceful, and plain ol dirty. And those who do them should be ashamed of themselves.
Reccently, I have been attacked by some, based solely on my race. I can't say this is surprising to me. But, I can say it saddens me deeply to see people sink to such low levels of behavior, and use such a wonderful place as the A.R.E. Chat Room for such an ugly purpose.
When will we all learn to respect and love each other, as Jesus commanded us to do?
Those I speak of in the A.R.E. Chat Room have sought to drive Blu and me out of there for a long time now. But they will not succeed. We intend on remaining there, as constant & steadfast representatives - to the best of our abilities - of Creator's love for all of us.
I pray for these people every day, because I do love them, and because Jesus told us to in Matthew 5:44 - "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you"
I take comfort in this fact: Good always triumphs over evil. Every single time. And I know which side I'm on.

Hail to the Chief for his wise words!
Mr. Cayce would be saddened to know people are being hurt by others who profess to follow his readings. Hopefully, some day the judgements and mud slinging will end. All will walk in the light of Creator and not check to see whose beam is brighter!

Sandy I like the way you phrased it, "not checking to see who's beam is brighter." That is the first thing anyone has said that has made this thing understandable to me. That is based on fear. I can understand that, fear of looking wrong, or fear of not being accepted. All things I would have thought were beyond those who would participate in a chat like that.
I can remember even as a small child being outspoken and defiant against that which would harm or devalue. I made up my mind early that if I was not accepted for it that I could handle that. I don't want to be accepted in a world that does not accept truth and light. Of course my mother kept a tight reign on me when she could! My mouth was bigger than my punch back then, Bless her heart.
Anyway back to your point. It should never be about whose light is the brightest. That is not what we are about at the A.R.E., it is about service. Pointing the way to a lost world. Being helpful and kind to those seeking their way in a lost world. Without that we are no different from any other chat on the net. When those who come there looking for companionship and information on the readings, no matter what they are looking for, if they find back biting, gossip and information being presented that are not presented in a valid context they are being abused in the worst way. There are consequences to that and Jesus made that quite clear. Woe to them. It may not be up to me to deliver the consequences, but it is up to me to voice as loudly as I can the wrong being done to unsuspecting seekers. To defend them and comfort them. No matter how bad those pious pretenders try to make me out to be. I have one thing they can never defend against, righteous anger. If they think my anger is something, they ought to consider a God whose Name is being violated. Self is getting in the way of love in that chat and God is not mocked. I wash my hands of them. They must deal with their own consequences now.

I've always been one of those quiet ones....laughing...I guess the ones people say watch out for Since grade school I've stuck up for the under dog which is funny as most of my life I've been the under dog but don't feel that way. Sticking up for others after the bullies have left is my style...no confrontations for me! While on my path I've crossed paths with so many different types of people who share the same interests and have experienced some sort of negativity during these times. I don't think it is confusing as to what is expected of us as a human race. I suppose some arguing is to be expected but I prefer if two or more gathered in his name there is Love.

I so agree and it's people like you that will keep me at that chat. Thank you so much for your insight and love. It means more to me than you will know. The body is made of parts, and all the parts working together will be the answer. We love you Sandy, thank you for your influence!

Wow, Sandy, no wonder you are one of my favorite people! There is far too much checking the brightness of lamps in ARE chat. Would one call this jealousy, envy or just plain unloving? Maybe all of those. TEXTTEXT

I guess it is only fair for me to point out here that I am not always right. I have been wrong many times. But I have no fear in confessing my wrong doing and only want to make things right between my brother and me. Many of us make mistakes at times and that is to be expected. The problems arise when we cannot remove self and allow God to flow through us. Which brings me back to Tecumseh. He saw what was happening to the People, he saw that if left unchecked all that the People knew would change. He also saw that if the People did not unite and stand against the changes the balance in life would be broken. But there are new Tecumseh's, new Red Clouds, new Crazy Horses, and new Ten Bears amongst us. The American Indian is not gone, praise God and they will somehow bring back the balance. What was cannot be replaced, but perhaps something even more beautiful can be born of this pain. Like child birth, there is pain in the change. The visions of Fool's Crow and the prophesy of White Buffalo Woman will come to pass. If you listen to the music of the Modern American Indian you can hear it. I love Robby Robinson. In one song he sings "you don't stand against my prayers, you don't stand a chance against my love, we shall live again, we shall live again." One thing you cannot destroy is a soul. The soul of the American Indian lives on and all that is good is not lost. All I have to do is look into the eyes of my beautiful husband and know this is true. The strength, the wisdom, the beauty is still here and alive and growing. Thank God!

Okay, so I'm blushing big time....but it's nice to know I'm loved The job of perfect has been filled by our Lord, Jesus Christ, so we won't always be right and all we can do is try. In all areas of faith and practices there will be heartbreak, tension and parting of the ways. Honestly, I don't know what it will take for brothers and sisters to stand side by side for a common cause. It has been predicted that the Red Nation will rise once again and as Blu said, it won't be like it once was. There will be others to stand in place of their Ancestors....and peoples are going to have to move aside to let them ;D

Amen to that sister! My oh my, yes you are loved! If we all could just open to the Love being given to us from God at every moment we would have no problems at all. The problem comes when we look at each other and refuse to see a child of God. Ah, lessons to learn. ;D
