Experiment: What people in your life do you think the least of? Write down the names. What parts of yourself do you think the least of? Write down those parts. Work each day on treating these people and these parts of yourself as you would treat God. Pray for these individuals and parts of yourself each day.
Roz1: Experiment: Listen to others, Refrain from thinking of your response while the other person is talking. You might want to say ” let me think about your thoughts you expressed” Really listen, give it your whole attention
Roz1: I found that there is a correlation between traits we do not like in others and those we least like in ourselves

Roz1: 2nd part of experiment; forgive and FORGET; I withdraw my energies from a distressing encounter. I sit in quietude and draw back into me ALL my expended energies. All of it the pain, the humiliation, the defensiveness, any actions less than Christ like, my freeing forgiveness… claim all of it. Feel all the energy flowing back into the body. Roz1: so right
Merri: rub thumb and forefinger together
Roz1: no use your forefinger to set in your mind a precept
Roz1: exackle merri

Roz1: but you can do this on your own

Roz1: using a physical response sets the Mudra to remember
BluBearWoman: Are you saying for me to put my forefinger on my temple and set an ideal on my mind?
Roz1: no see the precept in your mind and then press the forefinger and thumb together

Roz1: and so acceptance of oneself is the essence of the moral problem and the acid test of one’s whole outlook on life. That I feed the beggar, that I forgive an insult, that I love my enemy in the name of Christ—all these are undoubtedly great virtues. What I do unto the least of my brethren, that I do unto Christ. But what if I should discover that the least amongst them all, the poorest of all beggars, the most impudent of all offenders
