Maruawe Gang!
I'm going to tell you how to get a "Poor Man's Copyright" on your work. This will stand up in a court of law.
First, you take the original copy of the work, sign and date it. Put it in an envelope and address it to yourself. Put the stamp on the back of the envelope, where it seals. See, the post office has to postmark that stamp wherever it is on the letter.
And if someone tries to steal your work, you can take that sealed envelope into the courtroom and the judge will see the postmark, and see that it has not been opened. And he can open it. It's as easy as that!
