Tlv-da-tsi (Panther, AKA Dana) sent me this email and asked me to share it with you.
Monday the 29 th I went to see the surgeon on my hip surgery, but before I went my church prayed for me, my friend prayed for me and I prayed for me while I was in the bathroom.
And after I prayed the LORD led me to Scripture: James 1:2-8 Profiting from Trials: 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into trials, 3 knowing that testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have it's perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 for let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the LORD; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
As I read it I was beginning to understand what the LORD has been telling me the whole time I was in pain which was about 3 years. The LORD was showing me patience through trials.
While I was at the doctors I was getting worried on what I was going to say to him, but then the words just came out of my mouth and the next thing I notice is the doctors face looking very humble and he said, ok lets set up a surgery date for next month. WOW! WOOHOO! He was getting ready to say "you have to lose more weight". But I felt the LORD touch him, and changed his mind and ok' d my surgery.
I know this is quite a long story but it is all true. But I don't want to take up too much space on Red Path, so if you wish you can break it down. Thank you and GOD bless you both. Love ya'z!! Dana
